It depends on the patient’s age and sun exposure. Periodic touch-up treatments can help to maintain the healthy glow.
AFT treatments will remove sun spots (face, chest, neck, and hands), remove sun damage, remove facial veins, reduce spider veins, reduce skin redness/rose colored cheeks (rosacea).
No extended “down time” or recovery time is needed. The patient may experience edema, but they will be able to return to work, school or other day-to-day activities after the procedure.
Typically a treatment will take 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the area being treated.
